Chairs
The bid is led by Brian Nisbet and Marguerite Smith, fans in and from Dublin itself. Between them, they have been involved in conrunning for multiple decades in Ireland, the US and elsewhere. This experience ranges from small local conventions to Worldcons.
Committee
Our bid committee has wide ranging experience of being involved in convention running at all levels. We have members with local knowledge of Irish conventions, including people and what is of specific interest. Adding to this, we have input from people experienced in what excites those visiting European, other continental and Worldcon conventions. From the con running perspective, we have very experienced members who have run large conventions (e.g. Worldcons) and some with lesser experience who want to learn more and we are able to help grow the next generation of con runners.

Staff
With an event and fandom this size, we are always building the team. There are small roles and big roles, tasks that need starting now, tasks that don't need doing until the convention, and everything in-between.
